NEW YORK, Dec 1, 2023 —IIE mourns the loss of Dr. Henry Kissinger, a life trustee and longtime friend of IIE, and extends condolences to his family.
As a statesman and a scholar, Dr. Kissinger relied on IIE and our global reach to identify the emerging leaders for the International Seminars that he created at Harvard and, after his government service, co-chaired at Georgetown.
As Secretary of State, Dr. Kissinger recognized the importance of international education and IIE’s mission to support life-changing opportunities for students, scholars, and artists worldwide.
