IIE’s DEIA Initiative is focused on action and accountability with defined goals, culture, and competency awareness by embedding DEIA into our culture. We provide education and engagement opportunities through custom learning and development initiatives to bolster knowledge, sharing, and expectations for our team members and stakeholders. We are invested in hearing and valuing all voices worldwide across the organization. The DEIA Initiative is action-oriented, developed and led by team members throughout IIE, and championed by leadership. DEIA affinity groups have been established to provide a platform for colleagues with similar identities, interests, and goals to connect with each other and foster professional and personal development. With these groups, we hope to provide team members with an opportunity to strengthen their networks, access resources for personal/professional growth, and provide IIE with feedback to help drive positive change within the organization.

Our Community
Our global IIE Community is made up of so many wonderful people who all work together to deliver on our mission. Having a network of supportive colleagues also makes our jobs easier and our workday all the more fulfilling! IIE’s offices all over the world follow a hybrid work schedule that allows team members the flexibility of telework and in-office work. IIE’s global headquarters are located on the 36th floor of New York’s iconic One World Trade Center, the space features sweeping panoramic views with floor to ceiling windows, a quiet room, a staff café, flexible workspaces to accommodate our hybrid schedules, discounts to the WTC Observatory, and an amenity space on the 64th floor where team members and guests can gather and connect.
The IIE DC office is centrally located at 1350 I Street, NW and features flexible workspaces to accommodate hybrid work schedules and creative collaboration, a quiet room, a bike room, a fitness center, rooftop access, and a staff café for gathering. Team members also have access to a tenant lounge on the first floor.
