Russell Berrie Fellowship in Interreligious Studies
Established in 2008, The John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue was made possible through the generosity of The Russell Berrie Foundation. The JPII Center offered 133 Russell Berrie Fellowships at the Angelicum, supported over forty projects in dialogue and peacebuilding, and partnered with like-minded organizations and networks to amplify the impact of interfaith collaboration throughout the world.
In consultation with The Russell Berrie Foundation, the JPII Center ended its Fellowship program in 2023. The Russell Berrie Foundation
The Russell Berrie Foundation carries on the values and passions of the late Russell Berrie, through promoting the continuity of the Jewish people, and fostering religious understanding and pluralism. In partnership with The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), The Russell Berrie Foundation provides funding for the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue and its initiatives, including the Russell Berrie Fellowship Program.
